Will the AmazonBasics VGA to Displayport Adapter work at 85hz?

Hi I recently bought a AmazonBasics VGA to Displayport Adapter for connecting my VGA monitor to Displayport of my graphics card so I wanted to know if it is fine if I use 85hz refresh rate at 1024*768 resolution for the Adapter?
Or is 85hz too much for the Adapter and I should lower it? I want the Adapter to last long.

What is your monitor's native refresh rate? I would not exceed whatever rate that is. But go ahead and try other rates if you like. The adapter will not be damaged by trying a higher rate.

My native Refresh rate is 85hz.
I'm asking the question because the previous Adapter which was of other company Started to fail while playing games .
Now I have bought AmazonBasics Adapter so. It'll be fine with 85hz refresh rate for the Adapter to handle and last longer right?
