I used pcpartpicker.com and found out that i5 4460 have some compatibility issues with using ASUS H81M-E motherboard, it needs a BIOS update in order to use the CPU, but when I clicked the i5 4440 it doesn't seem to have any compatibility issues. Is this right? Or my internet is just lagging? There's no need to update the motherboard in order to use the i5 4440?

Solution
4440 doesn't need a BIOS update, it is supported from the first BIOS release. It will work for sure, regardless of how old the board actually is.
In order for 4460 to be supported, this motherboard needs at least BIOS version 0808, which was released back in January 2014. If you are purchasing a new board, 4460 should be supported out of the box, naturally. Check first with your dealer if you can.

No, I mean the 4440, will it still need a BIOS update? Because pcpartpicker don't tell that it needs a BIOS update.

Supports the 4440 right out of the box, I have done builds with the 4440 + Asus H81M
