Here's my build on PC part picker:

i5 4460
CX600
Gigabyte r9 280x
kingston fury series 8GB ddr3 1866
1tb caviar blue
asrock z97 anniversary
Cooler master n600 windowed case

Will all these parts work well together, and most importantly, will the psu be enough for the system and for some overclocking? (I'll be upgrading to the i5 4690k when I have the money)

I'm in Australia, so the prices are higher and I can't get that psu. I'm on a $1000 budget. any other options?

The 600w Corsair CX listed on the Australian PCPartpicker site is only bronze rated, so is this a new law that hasn't taken effect yet? Plus, I guess the Australian government hasn't read the articles about the increasing popularity of falsifying the 80plus ratings by the companies that provide the rating testing huh? Most independent testing sites are of the increasing opinion that 80plus certification is irrelevant now for all but the manufacturers that make high quality units anyway, regardless of the rating.

I think the regulations came in to force late last year , or earlier this year .
They are allowed to sell existing stock , but not import more [ unless its gold rated ]

Naturally many importers would have filled their warehouses before the cut off date . But when the stock is gone, its gone

EDIT : Silver rated psu's are allowed too [ but are there any? ]
Introduction date was October 1 , 2013

Bottom line, get the best PSU you can afford, regardless of 80plus rating, so long as it's on Tier1, Tier2A or Tier 2B on the Tier list below. If you need to skimp somewhere, skimp on other hardware. Get a cheaper case or drop down a level on the cpu. Don't skimp on the PSU. It's the lifeblood of the entire system. When it doesn't work right, nothing works right.:
