Question Will the cx650 fit this build?

I'm not much of a psu guy but I know skimping out on them can be a huge mistake. I'm making a budgety build to upgrade to ddr4 and ryzen from my previous fx8350 cpu. Trying to find a reliable psu that's not gonna break the bank and still be reliable for my build.

So here's what I'm going for

Gigabyte b450 aorus pro wifi mobo
Ryzen 7 2700x using stock cooler
Still deciding on ram but shooting for 2x 8gb between 2666 and 3000
Using my old xfx rx 580 black edition
2x ssd
Plan to have 5 120mm case fans in total

Will not be overclocking any components

Will the corsair cx650 suffice for this build or am I a fool?

Reccomendations for a better matching budget psu?

Yes the CX650 would suffice and go with the DDR4 3000 or 3200 RAM. What is the budget for your build and what country are you in?

As long as it's the grey label version then that would be fine to use.

As for the memory I'd get 3000mhz as a minimum, preferably 3200mhz as it makes a difference with gaming.

Usa and around 400. Was gonna try to keep it under 400 by going with a b450 micro atx but that aorus pro wifi is just too sweet. I actually wanted to do a super compact build as I have a mini itx case, but the boards are just way too expensive, and I guess I'm just going to reuse my old corsair carbide spec-03 case.

I would consider this motherboard as its cheaper then that Gigabyte, has wifi/Bluetooth & supports 3rd gen out of the box.

I recently did a build with this board and it went very easy, the BIOS was easy to navigate and getting the memory to run at the correct speeds went smoothly. I would use the savings for a 2x8gb kit @3200mhz.

Thanks for this. I went with this. Except I saved the 10 bucks and didn't get the modular psu. I don't mind doing the extra cable management.
