Will the DDR3L work or I need DDR3 RAM?

Hey! Today I bought some of the components of my new pc. Unfortunately I got an Corsair Vengeance LP DDR3L 1.35V ram instead of DDR3 (It was DDR3 in the shop...) So my question is - Will it work with my motherboard Gigabyte H97-HD3 or I need to change it to DDR3 RAM. Thanks.

But on the motherboard info there is nothing about DDR3L. I've seen on other motherboards there is shown DDR3L compatibility. Also, what about the voltage? Is it a problem because it's lower than a normal DDR3 1.5V?

if you have two different ram chips for example if you have a corsair and you have hyper X they won't work together but if your MOBO is DDR3 and you have DDR3L ram and trying to make it work in a ddr3 board it will not work

G.SKILL AEGIS 8GB 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Desktop Memory Model F3-1600C11S-8GIS. This ram should be compatible with your MOBO if you're willing to get new ram, i mean there's no choice for you because DDR3L ram won't work with DDR3 MOBO. and i've done some research your MOBO is DDR3 so the ram you got won't be compatible with your MOBO.

This would be wrong. DDR3L is compatible with DDR3 motherboards. The only difference between DDR3 and DDR3L is DDR3L can run at a lower voltage.

Standard DDR3L Modules should be backwards compatible and accept 1.5V as well.
Looking to the spec that you sent it says:
Module Voltage 1.35 V / 1.5 V

And this is the difference: DDR3L can run with 1.35 as well as with 1.5V ..
so if there is no other incompatibility with your motherboard and the memtest runs fine this should be no Problem.

nope not at all only if you go over the voltage limit than maybe you can damage the sticks but no you cannot damage your board
