Will the E8400 bottleneck R9 270?

My Specs at the moment:
E8400
P5QSE
NVIDIA 9800GT
7GB RAM
550W PSU

basically im buying a new pc, but at the moment i can't play that many games without getting 20 fps, all the old games are slowly dying such as cod4. im interested in playing bf3 and bf4 and i want to buy a graphics card that im able to use on my pc atm.

once ive bought the R9 270 i will be upgrading my pc slowly

go for it, sounds ok. the other components will need to come all at once. new ones aren't compatible with the old. none of them. (maybe the cooler but that's not helping)
