will the g550 run 2133mhz ram at 1066

hi i am new to the world of pc gaming i was wondring that i know the g550 intel cpu will run 1600mhz ram at 1066mhz but i was wondring if the g550 cpu would run 2133mhz of ram at 1066mhz or would it not work for any reason plz could someone help me with thanks in advanced
