Will the game run at 4K with decent frames?

Hi I'm getting a gtx 1080 g1 gigabyte gpu looking to run most games at 1080p ultra but also 4K , however my cpu (amd fx650) isn't the best cpu to run with the gpu (maybe a few bottlenecking issues) so would I still be able to run a game like CRYSIS 3 at 4K high settings ?

Honestly, you may be able to get PLAYABLE framerates at 4k, but your cpu will be really holding you back, I would get an i5 if i were you, its not worth throwing away all that performance because of your old cpu

Maybe reconsider that GTX 1080 and get a 1070 instead or even a 1060, and get a new CPU and motherboard. That CPU is a bottleneck and a waste to be running a $600 GPU on it.

I agree if you can't get a new processor get a gtx 1060 because right now the 1070s price is up way too high.
