Solution
Dafuq. LOL. You should've said it earlier. For the combat model,
VGA card length :
270mm / 10.6 inch (with HDD cage)
390mm / 15.4" (without the 1st HDD cage)
The gigabyte GTX 970 card's length is 312 mm (refer http://www.gigabyte.com/products/product-page.aspx?pid=5209#sp), but the case supports a maximum of 270 mm video card only (refer http://us.coolermaster.com/product/Detail/case/mid-tower/haf-912.html). So, IT WONT FIT. Try a two fan model of GTX 970.

Oh. That means you have your drive cages removed. With the drive cages removed, the HAF 912 supports up to video card length of 390 mm as said in PC part picker. (https://pcpartpicker.com/part/cooler-master-case-rc912kkn1) So, you can have the Gigabyte GTX 970 G1 Gaming card.

Then how can it support a 292 mm video card? Leave that. Move those hard drives down and fit the new card. Simple.

I just ordered that card, and have that case. My friend who builds computers for a living says it will fit. I think some of the cages will have to be removed. I can't wait to see how this card plays WOW on Ultra. I'm also adding a 2nd SSD just for games. I'll let you know how it goes, and how cramped it might look lol
