Evening all,

I'm looking to upgrade my PC to a GTX 970. Just wondering you wise folks think I'll run into any issues. I semi built my computer the lazy way, I got an ok Zoostorm computer and upgraded it with a new power supply and graphics card just to run Skyrim (I'm a big fan). Now I really wanna play all the other RPGs (Witcher 3, Fallout 4 etc.) in ultra 1080p 60fps.

System Specs

Intel I5 4460 Processor 3.10ghz
8GB RAM
NVidia GTX 750 TI Graphics Card 2.0gb
EVGA Bronze 500w Power Supply
Gigabyte Ultra Durable GA-H81M-DS2V Motherboard

I was also looking at a processor but from what I've read I should be ok with the I5 (I think).

You guys are the experts, hope you can help me.

Many thanks,

Soft Mick

PSU is poor quality , would upgrade when you can , but yes it can run those specs.

Thanks, appreciate the help.

I must admit the power supply was a quick fix. I changed the case on my PC to much snazzier (and bigger case), unfortunately the stock power supply's cables wouldn't reach anything! I bought that PSU just so I get it running again.

Any advice for the amount to spend on a decent PSU?
