Question Will the i5-9400F be available in the coming months still?

I'm wondering because I am thinking about upgrading to it along with a new GPU and mobo, but not yet. And so being a "specialized" chip I'm curious as to whether or not its a limited supply run.

My guess is yes. Intel is having supply challenges. If they can sell CPUs with faulty IGPs, you can bet your lunch they'll do it.

What's the point of specifically wanting a CPU with no integrated graphics capability? (just curious)

It costs the same as the base 9400, anyway....(most speculate this just gives Intel the chance to sell CPUs that originally had/have defective GPUs built in by laser cutting them out, electrically)

The 9400 isn't really available anywhere that I have seen, and where it is is used and for like $200. The 9400F is $175
