Will the i7-4790k still be good for streaming games after a year?

I have a 4790k non-oc'd that I bought off of a guy last month. Was wondering if this would serve me well in a year or two for my gaming needs.

I also stream games on Twitch like PUBG, League and Overwatch all of which to my understanding aren't really that CPU heavy. Was planning on going Ryzen 5 1600 but the money could also be spent on a better cooler for OC'ing and a better GPU (am currently looking at the GTX 1060).

Do you guys think this is the best way to spend my money? Any insight would be very much appreciated.

the 4790k is still a beast, and will still be for atleast 2 to 3 years maybe. I have the skylake i7 6700k non-oc, which i run games like battlefield 1 and witcher 3 and so on. The 4790k can easily win over the 6700k in many games. so in 3 years an oc will even make the cpu last a little bit longer.

Assuming a 'Z' motherboard I can't see any pressing reasons to replace the CPU; anyway, you'll need to swap the motherboard and RAM as well, making it a very expensive upgrade whichever way you go.
Spend your hard earned cash on a better CPU cooler (to OC later) and maybe a stronger GPU; Bear in mind the GTX1060 is a very capable 1080 card, so with those fairly undemanding games you might want to spend some money on a high refresh monitor to really see the maximum benefit.
