more than likely since the extra cores will start to really give a difference in the next few years

It's likely to be the better CPU in the long run. Broadwell-E is around the corner though, close to releasing. Maybe It's better to wait for that instead of the Haswell-E i7-5820k.

Apparently there is an 8 core i7-6900k included for Broadwell-E!
