Question Will the LSI 9300-16i Controller will run on ASRock X670E PG Lightning Mobo?

Hi All ~

I'm seriously considering some SAS HDDs that I can get for a very good price. As stated in the subject line, the mainboard that will be used in this PC is the ASRock X670E PG Lightning employing an AMD Ryzen 9 7900X3D CPU. In addition, I'm hoping to use an LSI 9300-16i controller AIC for the job. Does anyone know if this mainboard and the this SAS controller are comaptible?

Ten to start out with and more to follow. I really appreciate the post, but the question was more about whether or not the LSI 9300-16i will work with this mainboard. I understand that this particular controller board can be very finicky.
