Will the msi GeForce 960 Gpu fit on the Msi 970 gaming mother board

I'm about to buy a msi gtx 960 but I'm not sure if it will fit the msi 970 gaming motherboard. So please let me know if it will fit before I purchase it, thank you.

He may be referring to the fancy MSI shielding blocking the end of the GPU on the right side. Whether or not it goes out that far the GPU should clear it fine, i'd be surprised if it didn't. It will be close though don't get nervous, as long as it snaps in properly you are g2g.

I'd have to see a photo. I can't envision anything that would keep a gfx card from fitting the board unless there was some part of it made incorrectly. Unlikely.

Actually it makes plenty of sense. My Geforce GTX 960 GPU covers 4 of my SATA ports and I'd love to show you a picture if this forum wasn't so stupid about posting them.
