So my case is this:

Antec Nine Hundred

Does anyone know if the Noctua NH-D15 will fit inside of it?

Upgrading to an AMD 5800X in Nov, but wondering if I'll need a new case for this cooler?

Solution
I'm guessing you're referring to the Scythe Mugen 5 Rev.B:

It's a great budget performer, but overclocking won't be a great idea on it.

A much better option would be the Scythe Fuma 2(it's the same height as the mugen @ 154.5mm):

There's not really much information on the Antec 900 case, but from what I've found ~160mm would be the max CPU cooler height allowance.

If you want more cooling performance, you might want to check the Noctua NH-D15S here:
https://noctua.at/en/nh-d15s

It's 160mm tall and performs similarly to the NH-D15 with a single fan.
Just to make sure, is this the case?
https://antec.com/product/case/nx300-black.php

If so, the NH-D15 is 165mm tall with the fan mounted: https://noctua.at/en/nh-d15/specification

From the specifictions page of the Antec case:

Max CPU Height≤ 165 mm

So, it should technically fit in there. You might need to run with the single central fan if your RAM modules are too tall... that shouldn't affect cooling performance much though.

No, the case I linked is the case

But I've had another reply somewhere and apparently the case only supports up to a 160mm CPU,

They recommended this as an alternative to the NH-D15:

Cooler scythe 5100smg

Any opinion on this?
