I have an old graphics card and i want to replace it , i want to buy the Radeon 7750 but i'm not sure if it will work with my system

my specs:
Intel Core i5-3470 CPU 3.20GHz
4GB RAM
ATI Radeon HD 5450
500GB HDD
300 watt hp PSU

here's a picture of my psu http://imgur.com/MLIXczK , is it 300 watt?

Yes, the 7750 should be ok on your 300 watt psu. Your cpu could handle a lot better gpu though, if you throw in a little better power supply you could upgrade to a even better gpu. But if the 7750 will meet your gaming needs then you are all set.

insanity....do that and risk blowing up your system...amd recommend 400watt minimum

They always recommend more then what is necessary. They call for a 7850 to run on a minimum of 500 watts. Yet it also runs fine on lesser wattage. The 7750 does not require a 6 pin connector. and has very low power consumption. http://www.techpowerup.com/reviews/HIS/HD_7750_iCooler/24.html

I have a 5770 running off of a 380 watt, and the 7750 uses a good 30-40 watts less. As well as your CPU is probably using less than mine too. I would check your power supply stats and the sticker on the side and ensure that the +12v amp rating is in the 20-24 amp range and at that point I think you would be fine. I actually do have a power meter coming in the mail hopefully being delivered today since I'm thinking of throwing a 6870 on to my 380 and I want to be sure it isn't too much. People shouldn't recommend what AMD says as the minimum recommended, because they have to say far more than what's actually needed to cover for garbage power supplies that melt when you push 60% of their ratings through them.

I had borrowed a kill-a-watt a while back and found my i5-3570k, 8GB, 7850, 2x7200 and 1xSSD peaked at using 230 (160-175 while gaming) watts from the wall. At 85% efficient that means my PSU is actually delivering about 195 watts, and even then if the entire amount was coming off of the 12v rail it would only peak at 16.25 amps.

I only have one fan and nothing extra

then your good....i have 11 so for me it makes a differance.

hey i am not answering this question i have a question can u please answer me?
My System Requirement is:
intel core 2 Quad Q9400
250GB HDD
8GB DDR2 Ram 800MHZ
DVDRW
I have HP DC7900 Convertible Minitower PC which is BTX form factor so i cannot upgrade the power supply in this PC because a normal ATX PSU would not fit.Its Power Supply is (Active PFC;365 Watts 85% efficient).
Is this enough for Asus Radeon HD 7750 1GB 128-bit GDDR5(900 MHZ) Model(HD7750-T-1GD5) and my Motherboard has PCI Express x16 2.0 version. Here is the link of my PSU Pic with details and a Hp specs link.
Sorry for bad English.

Yes its enough. I myself run a 7750 on a 350 watt psu and it runs just fine. Just keep one thing in mind do not overclock anything including ram, graphics and the cpu. If you keep everything on stock you will be just fine.
