Hi guys, my system specs are as follows:
I5 8600K overclocked to 4.5 GHz on water cooled aio
GTX 1070ti
32 GB 3000MHz ram
500gb WD ssd
2x 2TB HDDs
On Asus Prime Z370 P motherboard
Now my question is will the rest of my PC bottleneck the 2080ti, I use a 4k monitor for gaming at 60Hz, now currently apart from old games and the odd strategy game I cant play at 4k, well i can but not at 60fps, around 30 on ultra in games like assassins creed origins, anyway I an thinking of getting a 2080ti or a 2080 so that I an play those games at higher resolutions than I do now (which is 1440p). Would it be better to use the money I have saved for the 2080ti or to try and save some more for better CPU?
Thanks guys
