Will there be price drops on 1060s?

I was looking to purchase an EVGA GTX 1060 SC in the coming weeks, preferably before the release of Wildlands. But after today's 1080ti announcement along with the mention of 9gb/s 1060s, should I wait on buying a 1060 as the price may drop with the new cards (whenever they may release), or should I buy now as they may go up?

Not sure I'd pick a 1060 for Wildlands myself...pretty demanding game on the GPU side...Ive played both Betas and can say without question you want all the GPU power you can afford...the 1060 wont give 60fps even at 1080p unless your dialing down the eye candy...which is what Wildlands is all about

Yeah, even with my 1080 the game was very iffy, not a good purchase imo through personal playthrough with mates, its fun for about an hour before you realise its 80% running, 99% the same repetitive go here capture/kill this guy, aka nearly every Ubisoft game nowadays. :(

Well it's not specifically for Wildlands, but I'm currently running a 2gb 960 and the Wildlands beta chugged like hell on pretty much the lowest settings, plus I've had a couple of other low-quality experiences like Forza Horizon 3. My 960 was never a "confident" purchase, and it clearly just isn't cutting it any more. Plus, with an i5 6500 and a 430W psu, the highest I can go is a 1060, 1070 at a push but my budget just can't cover that.
