Okay, from the three things I listed would you suggest them? I'd like a 800 or under budget, so a 200ish MB 400 ish CPU and 200- RAM.

I added a cpu cooler if you haven't already chosen one. You will need to buy a cpu cooler with this cpu.
I chose 16GB as it seems you wanted 16GB.

I have the stock Alienware one that came with it, but I've upgraded the fan already.
I'll be upgrading from the stock MB and a 2600k i7

I doubt that cpu cooler would be enough for a i7 5820k, you do need a beefy cpu cooler to cool that cpu.

Depends on what application you talking about.
On a single threaded application, the i7 2600k probably edges out a little but it's probably negligible.
In multi core and hyper threaded applications, the 5820k will probably win. Also 5820k has 28 pcie lanes when the i7 2600k is limited to 16 lanes.

It will be mostly gaming, Guild Wars 2, The Witcher 3, Skyrim, Elder Scrolls Online, League of Legends etc.
Then applications like Photoshop Maya, Unity, Visual Studios, Blender etc.
I multitask A LOT, like 7 internet tabs video games youtube and above stated programs. On rare occasions.

Running 7 internet tabs is not that demanding as people would think. It's more down to the ram than the cpu. 16 GB ram will be fine. With 8GB or ram you could run around 40 tabs in chrome.
Video editing, photoshop, Unity will benefit from the 5820k, gaming not so much.

What are you trying to do?
If you have a four pin header and a three pin fan, it will only run as a three pin header regardless if you had an adapter because you have a three pin fan.
If you have a four pin fan into a three pain fan, it should still fit but run as a three pin fan.

So when you say gaming not so much, do you recommend a CPU that will do well for Gaming? As gaming is the priority the software secondary. So if saving money can be found there, that would be great.
But I also want to not need to buy one in the next few years, 3+ maybe?
