ryzer 5 1600 cpu
MSI B350 GAMING PLUS motherboard
gtx 1050 ti gpu
Kingston 8GB(2x4GB) HyperX Fury DDR4 2666 MHz ram
Kingston 240GB A400 SSD
One of my friends said that I should get bigger power supply but I don't think I need to ?
and if you have any motherbord/any part improvements be sure to tell

Of course, it will be more than enough for the system specified above. Can you provide some details regarding the "550W PSU" mentioned? Even a 450W would do the job for this build but when it comes to the most essential component of the PC, you should not save money and go for a cheaper one.
Kindly share your budget for the PSU and the for the entire system too.

Honestly, there are much better SSDs that are not much more expensive.
WD Blue, Crucial MX300, or MX500, Smasung 850 Evo.
And you get the most value (GB per 1$) with 500GB SSDs and they are usually faster.

I don't know what size I should get I just want to put the pc bootup in it and maybe 1 or 2 games if there is still room

How much space does it take to put the bootup in the ssd ?

120GB will fit windows and couple of programs.
big game will not fit.
Get at least 250GB
