Yes they will work together however im going to add some tweaks.

1. Get the i5 4690k and use the money saved to get a higher end GPU like the 970

2. That RAM is overkill unless you are doing some RAM heavy tasks, if it's just for gaming i would suggest 8gb maximum.

3. If you plan on overclocking then i suggest a CPU cooler like the CM 212 Evo or similar.

4. If you are not overclocking get the Non K i5 4690.

However another thing is the new z170 boards are around the same price(if not a tad bit expensive) as that board you are getting, so why not just get the newer chipset/CPU?
