Will this "AMD only" RAM work on my system?

I have a Gigabyte ga-f2a55m-ds2 (rev 3) motherboard with an amd f2+ socket.
Will one of these work on my pc?:

I bought an "amd only" 1600MHz ram (PC3-12800 CL11) a while ago which didn't work (probably dead), I couldn't get a refund. But notably the seller then removed all amd only rams from his items list.

The only thing that matters most of older 775 socket its single sided ram ( high destiny) vs double sided ram (low destiny) or in short compability.

You should talk to Ebay customer support about that and see how they can help you.
I would also to add that you dont buy from user if you dont check the ratings ( as seller not buyer).

My motherboard is an AMD one with FM2+ socket. It supports high density ram ( my current ram is a high density single sided 4gb stick). Also, I am looking to buy from AliExpress (as seen in the links). Do you mean I should get a single sided ram? The second one from those links looks like it, will confirm it. Seller ratings look fine.

Have you tried clearing cmos or mix ram with your old one? ( just for testing puropose)
I also have cheap ebay ram which works fine.

crucial.com is very reliable for figuring out what works and does not work for a given mobo. here is what they list for your mobo

they have both 1.35v and 1.5v as compatible. the 1.5v is the "amd only" ram as they used higher voltages than intel did. the intel boards won't handle the 1.5v ram so it is listed as "amd only" the ram you linked to is 1.5v as well and should work with your mobo based on the ram specs and what your mobo is supposed to be able to support.

I just read in detail the descriptions of these rams and found out that "amd only" means compatible with AM2 and AM3 sockets, not with FM2 (its actually stated there). I guess I'll have to look for cheap universal ram instead. BTW, how can I buy from Ebay.com from India? The prices for rams seem cheaper there than on AliExpress.

I am looking for 4gb 1333Mhz. My cpu is athlon x4 740. Can you find something that ships to India and is cheaper than what AliExpress has?

i know the amd only tag was meant to say it does not work on intel boards due to the higher voltage. never seen it not work on any amd board that supports ddr3 ram. i see nothing different between the ram you linked and the ram i linked from crucial so i have no idea where the seller got his info from. never heard of any ram only working on some amd chipsets and not others. with ddr3.

mobo spec sheet does not say anything either about certain ddr3 ram not being compatible
