Will this bottleneck my CPU?

RAM: 8GB GDDR3
MOBO: MSI MS-7623 (I think...)
GPU: Nvidia Geforce 9800 GT
*EDIT: PSU: Corsair HX850 850 watt*

So, my question is: Will my CPU bottleneck the new graphics card I am about to purchase?
it is an Nvidia GTX 660 Ti 2GB GDDR5.

so you're going to spend 360 bucks on more, slow amd components. Intel has the fastest stuff right now.

maybe think about getting a good 990X board:
ASUS M5A99X EVO $129.99
$109.99 after $20.00 rebate card

and a decent heatsink:
COOLER MASTER Hyper 212 Plus $29.99
$19.99 after $10.00 rebate card

then overclock that athlonIIx4 until you have enough for:
AMD FX-8350 Vishera 4.0GHz $189.99

using $160 is less than $200 ($40) and $30 in rebate cards will give you $70 towards the 8350. you would need to save $120 to get it later.

you could get an ivy bridge i3 and motherboard for that, and it would spank your athlon x4 for gaming, no atter how much you overclock it. And you could then upgrade to a proper i5 cpu. which spanks everything for gaming.

you last two posters need to read the thread; the OP had $200 max to spend on his rig; there is no way he could have switched platforms and gotten the performance he is at now.

sure it would have been great to switch but some folks are limited financially. and the bottom line is its his choice which way he goes . .if you can't respect that . . .
