Not too techie with computer stuff btw.
Right now ive got a month's free time before going back to work. I do know that this build is old since the current cpu's in the market are already 7th/8th gen.

i7 2600/3770
Ga z77m
8gb ddr3
Galax gtx 970
500gb os and what not
1tb for games
620w seasonic

24" lcd samsung

Would this build suffice for triple A titles like witcher 3 and gta 5?

The only games ive played intensively was half life 2 and starcraft 2.

Any feedback would be great. Thanks you guys

To be honest its not a bad build, but you can probably get a better system for your money if you do some digging. It play those games, not super well you'll need to drop the settings a bit, GTA 5 is a bit of a CPU hog, and in that game your old CPU will start to show its flaws, since GTA 5 relies on the CPU to render in the world starting up a world and driving or turning your camera fast will result in very low FPS depending on the settings, you can probably get away with medium to low on GTA 5 with motion blue and tessellation and stuff off, as for witcher i'm not sure how CPU intensive it is but you should be fine, just don't try and play on 720p on anything, that will put more load on the CPU. Only thing I would recommend you do different is go for a better CPU if you can, try looking online for a CPU Mobo combo deal on something decent like a quad core with hyperthreading, just stay away from FX series from AMD there not the best even though they're cheap.

It depends on which CPU your getting, the 2600 will be on its knees in most AAA games, so get the 3770 you should be able to get higher min. FPS and better averages.

Thank you for the feedback you guys. Im getting this from a friend for dirt cheap. I dont mind playing not playing at high or max settings. I juat want an enjoyable gameplay. Thank you all once again for your feedbacks! Cheers!

Enjoyable? Yeah most likely, you can get around on medium settings on most games just make sure you have things like motion blur off, that will impact performance a lot.
