Hi! I am building my first gaming PC and am wondering if this build will work. As a first-timer I assume I'm missing something here or making a bad decision on this build so please let me know.

you need ddr4 memory for that motherboard .
get i5 6500 instead of 6400 .
and better power supply maybe if your budget is allowing it , but even 500B is a solid unit and it will do the job .
i would also throw in ssd disk (but you can always do it later)
otherwise it is a decent build .
you might also wait a few days because gtx 970s sucessor (gtx 1070)
has already been introduced and it is hitting the market in 2 or 3 weeks from now .

you don´t need to buy any additional fans .
