That CPU won't be able to feed information to the GPU fast enough in all uses. But it will feed it fast enough often, and it won't fall short by much when it does fall short.
The real problem with that CPU isn't about bottlenecking the GPU. It's more about the fact that the CPU's resources will be entirely used up processing some games. The thing just isn't powerful enough to run an entire category of demanding games as well as that graphics card can.
I think you'll be fine, though, if you just turn down settings. Very few titles will straight-up crash because the CPU is insufficient, though some super flashy games might do that. It will be rare.
