Will this combination work?

I have 16GB of Kingston DDR3 Parts# KHX2400C11D3/8GX and want to buy an i5 6600K with an ASRock Fatal1ty Gaming Z170 Gaming K4/D3 LGA 1151 Motherboard.
I know the board says it supports DDR3 but the i5 just says DDR4 and DDR3L. So I wasn't sure if my memory would work.

It should, its on the memory support list.

I would still update the MB BIOS to ensure full compatibility.
