Will this cpu/gpu work with my motherboard?

I'm looking to treat myself to an upgrade on my GPU or CPU this christmas and with my research I was not able to conclude if either of these two items would work with my motherboard. My motherboard is the MSI 970A-G46 (model no. That skylake will not work with AMD am3+ socket, you will need this for it to work.
