Hey,so I haven't done much in the line of upgrading my PC before, so im looking to check before I buy anything major. I have a HP - Compaq Pavilion 500-245, and I was looking to get the AMD radeon r5 230 as my graphics card, but ran into the issue of needing different power supply, which brought me to a TR2 600W , they both seem like they would work for my system, but im not sure if they would actually work / fit.
Thanks for any feedback

also realised my spec's might be somewhat relevant,
CPU
AMD A10-5700
RAM
8.00GB Dual-Channel DDR3 @ 798MHz
Motherboard
MSI 2AE0 (P0)
Graphics
768MB ATI AMD Radeon HD 7660D (HP) 1 °C
1024MB ATI AMD Radeon HD 7660D + HD 7000 Dual Graphics (MSI)
Storage
931GB Western Digital WDC WD10 EZEX-60ZF5A0 SATA Disk Device

current psu max says 300w at 25c, and 250 at 50c , while the card i was looking at says 400w minimum
so i would assume i would need a new PSU , but is that the case?

Edit: would a nvidia gtx750ti work instead even though i have an amd chipset? if so would i still need a new psu?

As for PSU it only effects your power bill so any GPU/Graphics card and Power supply will fit as long as your GPU fits the needed power specification. For them to physically fit the PC case measure the dimmentions of psu and graphics card and compare them to your case dimmentions

Your A10-5700 is better than the R5 230.

In any case you DO need to get a better PSU. 250W @ 50c is atrocious. I don't think i've ever seen a worse PSU.

Upgrading that to a 650W from like EVGA will open up a ton of video card options for you.

so, lets say i get a new PSU , which i kind of figured i needed anyway, what would be a good card to go with it, better than what i have at the moment? trying to keep this in a budget of 200-250$
