Will this gear work together?

What's up guys,
I recently bought a new graphics card; The Sapphire Radeon HD 5770 and a new Full HD 23" monitor, and since then I've noticed my pc is having trouble with some heavy games. So I was thinking about upgrading my PC with a new motherboard, new DDR3 memory and a new CPU.

My current gear is this:

Intel Pentium Dual CPU E2200 @ 2.20GHz (overclocked to 2.8Ghz)
2GB DDR2 RAM
Asus P5KPL-AM Motherboard
And of course the Radeon HD 5770

Now, the upgrade i've been thinking about is this:

Asus P8H61-M PRO (B3) For 80 euros (
Phenom II X4 965 Black Edition For 105 euros (
Kingston ValueRAM 8GB KVR1333D3N9K2/8G For 50 euros (

Now here are my questions: Will this gear be able to play upcoming games on high settings (not neccesarily highest) for the next two years, or is there a better upgrade for the same price? (I'm really at the limit of my budget with this upgrade)

Will this gear even work, is the chipset and everything okay with each component?

Also, I'm running 32bit Windows 7, is a 64bit version really neccesary for 8GB RAM?

I hope you guys can help me out with my questions.

Here are the prices in dollar, forgot to do that.

Alright, thanks for the replies guys!

I've found a new mobo, the Asrock 760GM-GS3.
Do you guys know if it's any good and if its compatible with the rest of my upgrade?

(I can get it for 50 euros so its even cheaper than the Asus P8H61-M PRO)

Hmm youre right, oddly enough it is presented by tweakers as a am3+ board, must pay more attention next time :S

Hmm... Why is it not AM3+? Because it does say so in the specs?
Socket: AM3+
Or do I need to look at something else?

(I'm not too worried about the 10 euro's, but the MSI mobo is available at the same shop as the CPU & Memory, the Asrock mobo isn't.)

Alright I guess Tweakers had wrong info. It's usually right though...
Anyways I want to thank you guys for helping me out.
My upgrade is going to be:

AMD Phenom II X4 965 Black Edition
Kingston ValueRAM 8GB KVR1333D3N9K2/8G
Asrock 970 Extreme4

Everything for 250 euros (350 dollar)

Two more things:

Will I be able to run that upgrade with a 500W PSU from HEDEN?
Where can I find the size of this motherboard, because I'm not sure if it fits in my PC?

Looks to be an Atx board to me, and your original plate is M-Atx or micro, its smaller basically, you either need to find a M-Atx plate for the new build, or (My vote) add an Atx sized case into the build as well, not sure on the psu and no time to research it, but I would say get a new decent branded one just to be safe

Looks to be a nice sized case,
yes it will take an Atx or M-Atx mobo so your fine there
5770's dont clear the motherboard so no issues with needing room for clearance there

if not post model number for yours, but its not looking good there
oh and yes, if your having 8Gb of ram, you need a 64bit O/s, noone else answered that one for you

Yes that is indeed my power supply, so it isn't good enough?
That would be lame because I already ordered the upgrade, and I bought the PSU about 2 months ago...
I guess I could buy a new PSU but I pretty much ran out of my budget so I can't spend too much money on it, with about 40-50 euros max.

BTW: thanks for helping me out, I don't have too much knowledge about hardware so you helped me big time.

Okay, I found a Corsair Builder CX430 V2 for 40 euros, I guess I could buy that...
But can you tell me, why would this one be better than the HEDEN 500W one because the Corsair is only 430W?
And also, what could happen if my PSU isn't good enough?

Read jonnyguru's review on the corsair, then google around for bad psu consequences, cant link form mobile sorry but if psu isnt up to it, best is that system just wont work and bsod all the time, worst is that it takes other parts with it when it blows,
There are higher watted units in the builder series, I just found the 430 and it was under budget for your needs

*sigh* I'll just buy the Corsair CX600 and won't worry about my PSU for a long time...
I dont want to purchase another PSU next month so..
Anyways thank you for the help, I'm really happy with what I've ordered.
