Will this GPU be compatible with my system?

Hey guys, I plan on getting a GTX 780 ti next week, but I'm not sure that it will be compatible with my motherboard and fit in my case. I'm new to computer building so any help is greatly appreciated.

I'm hesitant to say yes, not because it wont fit your case but, you do know your going to put a $700.00 gpu on a $47.00 motherboard with a mediocre case.

The rig that I have currently was given to me as a Christmas gift in 2013, so I just wanted to upgrade it instead of start from scratch. Is the motherboard and/or the case going to limit the gpu in any way? Thanks for the reply.

I currently have a AMD FX-6100 Six-Core Processor and a 500 watt PSU, but I have an i7 in my old rig that i'm going to put in this one. I'm going to buy a new PSU to go with the 780ti, but haven't decided on which yet. Any suggestions? Thanks for the reply.

My current power supply is a LEPA N500, but like I said, I'm not planning on keeping it. The processor is (according to dxdiag): Intel Core i7 3770 @ 3.40 GHz (8 CPUs), ~3.4 GHz. My budget is around $900, $1000 max.

Parts I have now: case, processor, and fans. Needed: Motherboard, PSU, and 780ti. Let me know if I missed anything. Thanks for the help.

No, the 780ti will have to be included in the $1000 budget. (The 780ti is $700 so I'd have $200-$300 left, I'd rather not spend more than I need to though.)

-GPU- picked out one with dual fans to keep it cooler
-PSU- a good 600w psu is enough but the 750w XFX pro is a great psu, it was on sale for the same as some of the good 650w psus so I figured more is better.
-Mobo- Pretty good mobo, supports SLI and Overclocking but your cpu is locked so no OC for that. If you don't plan to SLI or overclock your ram then you can save about $20 here by dropping to a H77 motherboard.

Yes, that is the same GPU for almost the same price. Get that one.
