Will this GPU work with my PC?

I have a Dimension 9100 series and I want to play minecraft without freezing or crashing. I have a PCI-e slot, but I don't know if it is Gen. 1, Gen. 2, or Gen. 3. The power supply is 375 watts. Will this card work for me?

it will work but that card was never meant for running games. I wouldn't go any lower than 6570

It is a low power card so your power supply should be good. People who play minecraft with the HD 5450 say "I can play on almost max settings with around 60FPS at 1920x1080 and can successfully run dual monitors without any problems (3840x1080)."

as far as I know all pci express cards are compatable with all gens of pci x slots. the only difference being what speed the transfer rate will be

for example install a gen 2 card in gen 3 slot it will only run at gen 2 speeds. same if a gen3 card is installed in a gen 2 slot still gen 2 speed. and gen 3 installed in gen 1 slot will only allow gen 1 speed

That is out of my budget and I don't need that good a card. I just want to not freeze when I play minecraft.
