Will this graphics card work in my Gigabyte Mobo

I was wondering will Sapphire AMD/ATI Radeon R7 240 with Boost 1 GB DDR5 Graphics Card on my Gigabyte GA-78LMT-USB3 rev 5.0 Motherboard,bcoz my mobo has pcie 2.0 slot and the graphics card is pcie 3.0.....

By performance loss means,is it bcoz of the pcie 2.0 slot.....
(my specs are Gigabyte GA-78LMT-USB3,AMD FX-4300,500Gb HDD Sata,500W Cooler master,corsair vengeance 2X4gb ddr3 1333mhz)

yup bcoz of PCIe 2.0 slot, but it would hardly be noticeable so you are good to go
