Will this i5 work with my mother board?

Hello all!

I will soon be purchasing the intel i5 7600k cpu to work along side a new gtx 1060 6gb from EVGA,
I would like to know if my current mother board will work with these.

My mother board:
ASRock FM2A68M-HD+
It has all the ports I need and as I am 15 and earn my own money I hope I don't have to buy a new one as the gpu and cpu does eat my cash

Any solutions are greatly appreciated

The motherboard you have is for specific amd processors and therefor no intel cpus will fit on it, so no that wont work.

You could go for the i5 7500 and a simple b250 motherboard to reduce cost and it will still work fine with a gtx 1060.

Also you will need DDR4 ram, the current ram you have which is DDR3 wont work either.

Motherboard could be something like a MSI B250M PRO-VD

no, that socket is for AMD FM2+ cpus. you would need a mobo with the LGA 1151 socket.
