Solution spooky2th Jun 3, 2014 The memory controller of the CPU only supports up 1600Mhz memory. See here: http://ark.intel.com/products/74744/Intel-Core-i3-3250-Processor-3M-Cache-3_50-GHz It just might be possible OC it to 1866MHz. The Asus MB will support both components.
