Will this NVMe SSD work with my motherboard?

Hello, I currently have an ASUS Z170 Pro motherboard (not the gaming model). The link to the manual is here: http://dlcdnet.asus.com/pub/ASUS/mb/LGA1151/Z170-PRO/E10417_Z170-PRO_UM_WEB.pdf
I am thinking of purchasing the Samsung EVO 960 NVMe SSD but I am unsure whether this will work with my motherboard. I think my motherboard is an "M.2 Socket 3" but I do not know about SSDs very much.
So my question again is if an NVMe M.2 SSD would work with my ASUS Z170 Pro motherboard, and if it does work, will I be able to take advantage of the NVMe part of the drive, or should I get a cheaper non-NVMe drive?
Thanks!

It will fit.
The Samsung 960 EVO is a great drive.
Yes, get NVMe. It's way faster with big files and in benchmark tests, but in everyday 'real world' use it's only a little faster.
