Will this plus lots of experience be enough?

I purchased this book and have begun reading it. It seems like the first 318 pages I'm already fluent on, and the rest is where I'll spend most of my efforts. Is this book enough to help prepare me for taking an exam to gain an A+ cert?

It's dated copyright 2013, which is the newest I could find.

I have the exact same book and in fact im in school right now doing A+ and yes if you study that book religiously you WILL be able to pass the A+ exam no problem. A+ is the most important cert for someone going into IT to have so you are on the right track. If you can get the network+ book as well and get certified in that its also good to have.

You might also want to check google for Professor Messer. He has a series of Comptia videos that are pretty good but if you feel you have a pretty good handle on the material from the book already it may be below your skillset. But he also has lots of other programs and mostly free. It is also up to date so in the off chance anything is missing from the 2013 book you can cover that online.
