As the title says, will this work, it requires 6 and 8 pin

A GTX 780 Ti uses at most 250W. The 600W recommendation from nvidia is for the entire system running a GTX 780 Ti. They generally over-estimate to accommodate for people buying crappy power supplies.

When it comes to power supplies, quality over quantity. Your system will not pull anywhere near 550W. It will probably only use up 400W with everything including the GTX 780 Ti. But as @RobCrezz said, wattage is not the most important factor.
Will it work? Most likely.
Will it work well? No.

Corsair CX line power supplies are built for low-end office or everyday computers. They're built with low capacitors and they do NOT handle heavy load well. If you are running a GTX 780 Ti, then I suggest you buy a better power supply. On the currys.co.uk site, they don't have a good selection of power supplies. Are there other places that you can buy power supplies from?
 
Depends what else it has to power of course, but you can run a GTX780Ti comfortably on a 550W PSU. It can make sense to bump that up to 600-650 if you are overclocking to give yourself some more wiggle room, anything above that is a total waste.

This is the obvious choice, it's a little more than £50, but it's likely to be worth it. Plus, if you can afford a GTX780Ti, you can afford a PSU to support it.

Given the price of the graphics card, you can make a serious case for spending at least another £20 if you want more options on PSUs.

and currently a radeon 7850 oc, but to be gtx 780 ti sc, when i get a new psu -.-
 


Yes. The total peak wattage isnt so important as the total wattage or amps available on the 12v rail. A good 550w will deliver much more wattage on the 12v rail (the important one in modern pcs) than a crap 700w, which probably allows most of its power on the useless 3.3v and 5v.
