I ordered this ram off newegg earlier today, https://www.newegg.com/corsair-32gb-288-pin-ddr4-sdram/p/N82E16820236570

I just noticed that the description says Intel XMP 2.0 but im running AMD with a asus x570 tuf gaming motherboard. I didn't think ram was amd or Intel specific so I should be able to install this memory and go into bios and go to the DOCP profile for amd and set it up correct? I just want to make sure before its too late because I can always cancel the order today. Thanks

CMW32GX4M2E3200C16 comes with several different version numbers and each number has different MICs. Version 3.31 and 4.31 for example works excellent. 4.32 and 5.30 are much worse.
Ryzen optimized RAM has a Z in the model number like CMW32GX4M2Z3200C16
4.32 should be fine. Samsung C-die. I have 3000 Mhz 15-17-17 from Corsair. I got it up to 3800 Mhz 20-22-22 without much trouble. But can't really tighten timings since I can't go over 1.35v. C-die hates volts over 1.35 and eventually it dies.
The 5.30, Hynix AFR, that is another matter. I have that as well, also 3000 Mhz 15-17-17. I couldn't even boot it at 3400 Mhz.
4.31, Samsung B-die. There is no way 16-20-20 is B-die. It would be 14-14-14 or somesuch.
3.31, if it is...

I don't see that memory on the motherboard QVL (qualified vendor list, compatibility tested). While not a definitive no, I would be cautious. Take a look at the QVL under the motherboard support tab HERE.

Your other choice would be to send an email to Corsair memory support and ask them about compatibility directly. The X570 boards seem to have better compatibility than the B450 did, but Corsair does have memory with AMD optimized comments on some of its sticks.

From what I've been reading this ram is compatible with my motherboard and many other people in this discord I use have said they are using this ram on their amd motherboard because one they set it to docp it manually fills in the timings. I'll just try it out and worse comes to worse I'll have to return and look elsewhere but it should work fine I hope.

3.31, if it is Micron B-die, it should be the 2nd best IC you can get. Best is B-die of course.
