Question Will This Replacement Display Panel Work

I need to replace the display panel in an HP Zbook Fury 15 G7 laptop.

I've already removed the damaged panel. It's an Innolux N156HCA-GA3 Rev. C1.

I've found a great deal on an Innolux N156HCA-EAB (looks like Rev. C5 in blurry image)

Both are 30 pin, same resolution and most of the other specs are the same. Will it work? And if it will, will I need to update the display driver? Thanks in advance.

The EAB will work but it's a much dimmer panel with more of a washed-out pallet. It's generally sold in $300-$400 laptops.

Thanks. This laptop is only used for basic tasks like email, ebay & amazon shoppings etc... and was an unnecessary silly purchase for the person i'm repairing it for. He 's not concerned with anything other than the left side 1.5" black vertical strip being gone from whatever caused that damage. He is very rough on things and will prob damage it again. I will probably be replacing the screen every so often until he dumps coffee on it nuking it for good which is why I see no reason having him pay any more than he needs to to replace the display.
