Will this rig work? Im building my first gaming pc. Since I had a ps4 I want to upgrade to a gaming pc that will out perform a ps4 for several years but still stay on a budget.

This is the rig I had in mind.

PSU - CORSAIR Builder Series CX500 V2 500W

Upgrade kit - MSI 970A SLI Krait USB3.1 Motherboard AMD FX 8320 3.5GHz Eight Core Vishera Processor - HyperX Savage 8GB 1866MHz DDR3 Memory

GPU- MSI GTX 1060 6GB

Just out of curiosity, what would your budget be? The rig is a little outdated as it's using AMD's currently available line of processors. (I find it hard to recommend AMD as is with Zen on the horizon.) We might be able to throw together a more modern build for you.

Brother browse on carbonite.co.za. It's like Gumtree for PC parts. You'll save a heck load of money and get a decent system going too. Personally i'd go with intel as AMD is barely supported down here (i'm also a saffa). Also browse youtube for builds that are better than console. I'd look at 3570k/4570k. Skylake is pretty expensive for that budget. Look for bundle deals on carbonite. Not sure if you're in Cape Town, but Cafe Viva in Stadium on Main has really good prices on CPU coolers, SSDs, fans etc. Otherwise wootware.co.za. Evetech are known to be way overpriced.
