I am going to build a gaming PC (http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/p/s36sgs) and I need a wireless network adapter because I do not have ethernet in my room. Do i need to buy something like this:

http://www.amazon.co.uk/TP-LINK-TL-WN881ND-300Mbps-Wireless-Express/dp/B006BSPTAQ/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1427014405&sr=8-2&keywords=wireless+network+adapter

or will this one do:

http://www.amazon.co.uk/TP-LINK-TL-WN725N-150Mbps-Wireless-N-Adapter/dp/B008IFXQFU/ref=sr_1_10?ie=UTF8&qid=1427014405&sr=8-10&keywords=wireless+network+adapter

By the way, my computer will run Ubuntu Linux, so I need one that is compatible with linux

Have been looking at that build and get the feeling you look at coloring, the ram you chose, when looking at that cheaper site,is red.Looked at that?

Found this thread to use windows drivers for a wifi card within linux,
http://www.howtogeek.com/howto/43752/how-to-install-a-wireless-card-in-linux-using-windows-drivers/

From your choices would i pick the first choice since it can do 300mbps.
I use this one myself,

i think that being able to move it around can give a better reception. The green led can however be a distraction when in sight.

Yes that is true, I look a lot at coloring in my build and like to have a theme 😛

Looked again at that ram, specs also don't match. The one you want has cas8,when looking at that site does it say cas9.

Other "blue" options,
