So I've been wanting to upgrade to a better pc. I can't afford all the parts right now so I was thinking about just upgrading and buying a really good graphics card for under $500 and put it in my pc I have now building the rest a couple months from now. This way I can get my upgrade to my games right away. Anyway I was wondering if this graphics card will work with my cpu I have now, I upgraded it a few months ago to a 6670 card, so i know it will work with my motherboard and I upgraded to a 600w psu for it. I will be getting a 7950 or better (If anyone has any suggestions) and just pop it in with my computer I have now.

Its just a regular hp pavillion with 10gb of RAM and the standard motherboard it came with. The cpu is a A10 5700 APU radeon. And it has a 600w psu.

The questions is. Will it work with the cpu for a couple months till I can get the rest of the parts to do a complete build? I mainly wanna be able to record and get better frames well doing so, but running my games on higher settings is all I want really for now. In a couple months I will take out the graphics card and do a complete new build. I just have to save up some more money.

Solution
Yes it will work, but it will bottleneck your gpu. Seeing as you're updating the cpu, you could use it like this for a while. What's the brand of the PSU though?

Corsair builders series 600w.

Will it hurt the graphics card? And how badly will it bottleneck?

That psu is fine then.

It will not hurt anything, and the amount of bottleneck depends on the game. In CPU intensive games the CPU will hold back a little. Shouldn't be that massive though.
