So basically i just upgraded the Compaq Presario CQ5210F's cpu, graphics card, psu, ram, and mother board (http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/document?lc=en&dlc=en&cc=us&docname=c01859813&product=4005896#N978)
im just wondering if everything will work. Im a noob to PCs, but i have a basic understanding and know some things.

This is incorrect. An am3 CPU is compatible on an am3+ board. People do it all the time. I do it on my htpc. Its supposed to be done that way.

Also, never get a cooler master PSU, they are crap. Get one from Antec, XFX, Corsair, or Seasonic. Also, what is your budget and what are you planning to do with this computer. The GPU is pretty weak if its for gaming.

yes im building my pc for gaming, but i only have 300$. I currently have a stock pc ( Compaq Presario CQ5210F ) with only a raedon 5450. can you recomend what pc parts to get with 300-320 highest. Im 14, but im passionate when it comes to technology and computers 😀
