im looking to fix my q9400 and i only got 20 dollars to fix it for now and my motherboared is a asrock g41c-gs r2.0 and im looking at buying a xeon x5460 will it work this website says people used it in builds with this motherboard

i dont want to buy another q9400 because i cant play games i want to play and this is my main gaming rig so dont make fun of it i only had 350 to build the pc and the rest went to games to play on it and ive heard good of this xeon and i know its not on asrocks support website ive called them to see if this will work on it so will this work for my money if now what cpu should i buy that is still on 775 platform and under 20 dollars and i can play games like gta 5 and forza horizon 3 thats the game i cant play at all
