Sending the whole unit back in for repair isn't an option because I upgraded the processor and RAM. So will Toshiba honor a warranty on a hard drive sold pre-installed in a computer?
I'm getting hard disk error notifications every few minutes. 'chkdsk' will only go to 10% and then stop. I've also noticed some of the tray icons and buttons within the start menu won't open.
Am I going to have to drop another hundred bucks on a new hard or will Toshiba replace it?
