i'm aware tha the cores and the threads of two cpc do works as one when they are use on a dual motherboard but i'm not sure that the ghz of both cpu merge together and consequenly give a higher clock speed, help please.

Solution
No, you do not get double the clockspeed.

You just get double the core, thread, and cache amount at the same clockspeed. There is a latency penalty to using dual cpus too.
