curiously there were "winds" blowing a year ago about how the desktop is going into the circular file, taking the whole box pc concept and motherboard form factors with it, in favor of tablets or NUC ultra mini pcs.
It seems like that has blown away, but do you folks at Tom's foresee that, say in 7-10 yrs, the uATX (mATX) form factor will STILL BE AROUND? Or how about Mini ITX? Is it better to make present new builds around good mini ITX (versus mATX) cases so you can reuse a good case in the future?
(Given that mobo chips are shrinking and getting more and more integrated).
