Hello,

I have an issue with my phone (LG G3) where the music keeps cutting whenever the screen is turned off. The music plays in the background but then it cuts and I have to open the screen, then it works but once I close it, it stops again, etc. It could be a firmware issue since I tried many methods to fix this issue so I want to know if resetting the phone will keep my phone unlocked to any carries. Also if I was to download a custom ROM or another Version of LG G3's official firmware via online and uploaded it to my phone, would it keep it unlocked too?

Thank you

An unlocked phone, is unlocked. Resetting it would simply reset back the firmware back to stock settings and should not impact the "unlocked" aspect.

Phones *can* be restricted via firmware, but they wouldn't be the distribution of an "official" LG firmware version, they would be carrier variants.
Even if you did end up with a restricted firmware, it wouldn't permanently "lock" your phone, it would just need a flash of firmware.
